About Crew Rowing

  Crew Rowing is founded from four rowers who developed a passion for the rowing fitness program and the rowing community. When they were notified that the studio that they were members of was closing, they decided to personally invest to keep it going. This is what rowing does for you, if you give it some time, it becomes a part of your lifestyle. You develop a passion!!

What is Rowing

Rowing is an exciting low-impact exercise that offers a complete and total body workout, using all major muscle groups without movements that can cause injury. Rowing builds strength and endurance and is an excellent cardiovascular workout that is stress-free to your joints. It is great for your core, improves your posture and can burn up to 400 calories in 30 minutes! Regardless of your fitness level, age or body type, rowing is an effective and sustainable form of exercise...and it's fun!

Our Program

Our program incorporates the ideas of HIIT. According to a survey conducted by The American College of Sports Medicine, HIIT holds steady among the top fitness trends for 2017 (along with wearable tech and bodyweight training). 

So, what’s this type of training all about?

HIIT, or high-intensity interval training, is a training technique in which you give all-out, one hundred percent effort through quick, intense bursts of exercise, followed by short, sometimes active, recovery periods. This type of training gets and keeps your heart rate up and burns more fat in less time.
